I rented a place and had to down scale during lockdown and had to move out 4 months before lease was up I paid everything in full and did not skip rent but they have taken the deposit as penalties for breaking the lease earlier I find it a little unfair as i did mail the agent about the situation and that we where taking salary cuts during the lockdown period what is my re course.
